Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about StrategySync™, MomentumAI™, and Our Method.
StrategySync™
What does StrategySync™ measure?
Whether your organization’s structures (decision rights, information flows, reporting relationships, and the day-to-day patterns they produce, such as organizational silos or unclear project ownership) support or undermine the competitive strategy leadership has chosen. The same structural trait can be an asset under one strategy and a liability under another, so StrategySync™ evaluates every finding against your specific strategic positioning rather than a generic best-practice list.
Does StrategySync™ tell us whether our strategy is right?
No. StrategySync™ does not evaluate whether your chosen strategy is the right one. It shows whether your organizational structures are built in a way that supports the strategic positioning you have already chosen.
How is this different from an engagement survey or culture assessment?
Those tools measure what people think or how the organization is performing. StrategySync™ measures something different: whether the organization is structurally built to execute the strategy leadership says it’s pursuing.
What do we receive from an engagement?
You’ll know which structures are propelling your progress toward your strategic positioning, and which are derailing it, what action to take on each one, and what to work on first. That comes packaged as a full diagnostic report and leadership briefing, so you have everything you need to start taking action.
Can we see what a report looks like before committing?
Yes. There’s a “Request a Sample StrategySync™ Report” option on this page.
How is StrategySync™ different from MomentumAI™?
StrategySync™ diagnoses whether your structure supports your competitive strategy. MomentumAI™ diagnoses whether your structure supports AI adoption. Same underlying framework, two different questions.
MomentumAI™
What does MomentumAI™ measure?
The organizational structures, Momentum Sources™, that determine whether AI adoption holds. The diagnostic identifies which sources support meaningful AI adoption and which constrain it.
Why aren’t our employees using the AI tools we’ve deployed?
MomentumAI™ was built to diagnose exactly this: it’s not the tool that determines adoption, it’s the organizational structures working underneath it. MomentumAI™ shows you which of your Momentum Sources™ are supporting adoption and which are holding it back, so you know what to develop, not just what to retrain.
Why isn’t our AI investment producing the productivity gains we expected?
Because deployment and adoption are two different things. MomentumAI™ shows which of your Momentum Sources™ support or limit adoption, so AI investment can translate into consistent use, productivity, and efficiency gains instead of stalling after rollout.
How is this different from an AI maturity model?
Maturity models typically benchmark you against other companies, using qualitative, sentiment-based input from leadership or key stakeholders. MomentumAI™ doesn't rank you against anyone else. It's reported as a positioning tier, not a maturity level or benchmark ranking, and it diagnoses your own organizational structures rather than collecting leadership sentiment.
How is this different from an AI readiness assessment?
Readiness assessments typically evaluate your technology, infrastructure, data quality, and workflows, sometimes alongside a workforce sentiment survey, to gauge whether you're prepared to begin. MomentumAI™ doesn't evaluate your technology stack or run a sentiment survey. It diagnoses the organizational structures that determine whether AI adoption holds, regardless of when you deploy.
Is MomentumAI™ an IT assessment?
No. MomentumAI™ does not evaluate your technology stack, infrastructure, or systems. It diagnoses the organizational structures that determine whether AI adoption holds, not the technology running underneath it.
Is MomentumAI™ a change management program?
No. Change management helps people adapt to a decision that has already been made. MomentumAI™ comes before that decision: it identifies which organizational structures are supporting or limiting AI adoption. If a change management effort follows, it has something specific to target instead of a guess.
What do we receive from an engagement?
You’ll know which Momentum Sources™ are supporting AI adoption and which are constraining it, what action to take on each one, and where to focus first for the greatest impact. That comes packaged as a full diagnostic report and leadership report, so you have everything you need to act.
What does it cost us if we don’t run this diagnostic?
Much more than the diagnostic itself. Without it, effort and budget often go toward the wrong fixes, another training program, a new tool, more messaging, while the structures actually limiting adoption stay untouched. MomentumAI™ identifies which ones need to change, before that cost compounds.
Is this going to turn into a pitch for more consulting work?
No. Stated directly on the page: “This report is not a roadmap to a downstream consulting engagement. It is the evidence leadership needs to act.”
Can we see a sample report first?
Yes, there’s a “Request a Sample MomentumAI™ Report” option on this page.
Our Method
What makes this framework different from a typical consulting framework?
It’s built from research synthesis, practitioner expertise, and validated measurement together, not a survey assembled from consulting experience alone. Expertise informs the framework’s development; it’s not a substitute for the underlying research.
How does Our Method relate to StrategySync™ and MomentumAI™?
They’re the same underlying diagnostic framework applied to two different questions: StrategySync™ to strategy execution, MomentumAI™ to AI adoption.
How do we know which diagnostic, StrategySync™ or MomentumAI™, is the right starting point?
If you’re dealing with persistent execution breakdowns, organizational silos, decision rights, or communication problems, start with StrategySync™. If the question is why AI adoption is uneven or why AI investments aren’t producing the productivity gains you expected, start with MomentumAI™.
What’s the first step to get started?
Schedule a conversation. That’s the entry point for both diagnostics.
